Overview

Winston Smith (Hurt) mène une existence misérable dans l'empire totalitaire d'Océania. Les citoyens sont sous la surveillance constante du chef omniscient, Big Brother. L'existence de Smith prend une tournure romantique mais dangereuse lorsqu'il entame une liaison amoureuse et se rend coupable du crime de pensée.
